Patrones gratis 2: Instrucciones / Free pattern 2 part: Instruccion.

En el post que puse hace unos días sobre los patrones gratis de la revista brasileña Manequim, os comentaba que no había sido capaz de encontrar la tabla de medidas ni de saber si los márgenes de costura iban o no incluidos en los patrones que ofrecía la revista de forma gratuita.

Entonces fue cuando se me encendió la luz, y pensé en que quizás Naii , de el Diario de Naii, me podría ayudar con la traducción. Se lo propuse y como es tan apañá y amable me ha traducido las instrucciones generales.

Las instrucciones no están en el  pdf sino en un rectángulo más abajo donde  aparecen los siguientes puntos:

In the post I put a few days ago about the patterns of the Brazilian magazine free Manequim, I commented that it had not been able to find the table of measures or whether seam allowances or were not included in the patterns offered by the magazine free.

En cuanto a mi duda de si llevaban o no los márgenes de costura incluidos , Naii, me ha traducido :

Es en “dicas para cortar o tecido”  donde explica que los patrones no llevan margen:

” O contorno do molde corresponde à linha da costura, portanto, deixe as seguintes folgas para as costuras: 2 cm nas laterais, 1 cm a 1,50 cm nas cavas, no decote e nos recortes, 4 cm nas bainhas feitas à mão e 1 cm a 2 cm para as bainhas feitas à máquina. ” = dice dejar 2cm en los laterales, 1,5 en el resto (escotes, sisas…) 4 cm en dobladillos a mano u 1-2cm a maquina.

La boda y algunos detalles/ The wedding and some details.

Al final la chaqueta no la estrené. Cuando hice el ensayo general de vestuario en mi casa, me di cuenta de que no me gustaba como quedaba la chaqueta con el vestido. Y en realidad, tenía que haberme dado cuenta de que las chaquetas tipo Chanel siempre se suelen llevar con faldas estrechas o pantalones. Parecía un saquito de papas!! ja , ja.

Al final opté por ponerme mi chaqueta negra, que me saca de más de un apuro. Aunque en la foto no se aprecia tiene los cuellos de raso. Y que me decís de mis tres niños??.

In the end I do not wear my jacket. When I put it with the dress, I realized that I did not like was the jacket with the dress. And actually, I should have realized that the Chanel-type jackets always usually wear tight skirts or pants. It looked like a sack of potatoes! ha ha.

Este es el tocado y el ramo de novia, ¡¡ mi regalo sorpresa!!. Mi hermana no quería ni flores ni tocados, pero yo soy muy cabezona y le hice una diadema con un tul blanco y unas plumas en azul. El resultado: un look muy de los 50′. Y le quedaba chulísimo!!.

También os quiero enseñar algunos detalles de la boda. Los centros de las mesas y las servilletas, claros ejemplos de que los  pequeños detalles hacen a las cosas grandes. Como este tenedor de plástico, que mono, con su lacito, parece de buena cubertería y todo!.

Patrones gratis! / Free sewing patterns!!

Por casualidad he llegado a la página de la revista Manequim, y cual ha sido mi sorpresa cuando he encontrado ¡¡ patrones gratis!!. Es como si hubiera encontrado un tesoro. A simple vista tienen buena pinta. Habrá que probar para ver que tal son y como quedan…uhhh , otro proyecto en cola!!!.

Os pongo algunas fotitos para que os hagáis una idea. Si pincháis en la imagen os llevará al enlace para descargar el patrón.

También hay un par de patrones de chaquetas, faldas y una camiseta. Si os decidís, es muy importante que comprobéis las medidas, tendreís que hacerlo sobre el patrón. Yo he estado buscando, pero no encuentro ninguna tabla de medidas. Tampoco he podido averiguar si llevan los márgenes de costura incluidos.

Bueno, ahí os los dejo, en cuanto tenga un hueco en mi agenda de costura los pongo a prueba!!!.

Como alargar un vestido/how to make a dress longer.

Sólo quedan 4 dias para la boda de mi hermana, y dudo mucho que me dé tiempo de coser algo para llevar junto a mi chaqueta verde. Así que me he comprado este vestido color visón, muy baratito.

There are only 4 days to the wedding of my sister, and I doubt that will give me time to sew something to take with my green jacket. So I bought this dress, very cheap.

El vestido es perfecto, salvo por dos cositas:

1. El forro es inmensamente pequeño.

2. El largo del vestido – la ironía de la talla U- para mi gusto y mi cuerpo serrano ¡¡demasiado corto!!.

The dress is perfect except for two things:

1. The lining is immeasurably small.

2. The length of the dress – the irony of the U-size for my taste and my body is too short!.

Pero como estamos en situación de emergencia, y el vestido me encanta, vamos a solucionarlo!!!

Necesitamos:

- 1/4 de metro de forro del mismo color.

- 2 metros de encaje o tira bordada o similar.

But as we are in an emergency situation, and I love the dress, let’s fix it!. We need:

- 1/4 mtrs lining in the same color.

- 2 mtrs lace or embroidered strip or similar.

Primero , pegamos una tirita de entretela o fiselina en el borde del forro para facilitar la costura del añadido de forro. En mi caso era necesario, por que el forro original del vestido era de punto, y es un poco difícil de coser si no tienes una máquina de coser overlock.

First, add a strip of interfacing  on the edge of the liner to provide added seam of lining. In my case it was necessary, because the original liner knitted dress was, and is a bit difficult to sew if you do not have an overlock sewing machine.

Cortamos la tela de forro que queremos añadir y la cosemos.

Cut the fabric you want to add new lining and sew.

Pulimos con puntos en zig-zag el bajo del nuevo forro.

Y ya tenemos un problema resuelto, para resolver el segundo , solo tenemos que coser el encaje al borde del vestido, y ya está!! tenemos un vestido personalizado 100%.

Como me sobró un poco de encaje decidí añadirlo al escote y la verdad es que le da un toco muy lencero.

Mi preciosa chaqueta.

Ya he acabado mi chaqueta, me ha costado un poco por que nunca había hecho una y no tenía ni idea de como de forrarla,  me he pasado más tiempo investigando en internet cómo coser el forro, que cosiendo  la prenda. Para mi gusto las instrucciones que vienen en la revista no lo dejan nada claro.

I’ve finished my  jacket, I have taken a long time that I had never done one and I did not know how to put the liner. I think the magazine Burda instructions are unclear.

 

 

 

 

Debería haber cortado una talla menos, por que he tenido que meterle a los hombros y a los costados un poquito, y darle un par de cms más en el bajo. Nunca me acuerdo de lo corto que son los talles en los patrones Burda.

Espero que os haya gustado mi chaqueta. Me parece increíble que haya salido de mis manos esta preciosidad, es simplemente única!!.

Estoy deseando que me pregunten dónde la compré, para decir, – Aissh, no! , no la compré , la hice yo – ( y te quedas con las ganas por que nunca tendrás una así de bonita) – ja,ja!!!

Seguro que me entendéis!!, un besito  a todas!

I should have cut a size smaller, because I had to shrink the shoulders and sides a bit, and next time I’ll give a couple of inches more on the bass, I can never remember how short are the sizes Burda patterns .

Dos cositas que contar!!

Hoy os voy a enseñar un tocado que he hecho para una amiga . Tengo que decir que el maniquí fue el regalo que me hicieron mis niños y mi marido para el día de las madres.

Today I show you a fascinator I made for a friend. I have to say that the dummy head was a present to me by my children and my husband for Mother’s Day.

En realidad es muy fácil de hacer si cuentas con las herramientas adecuadas. El maniquí es bastante útil, por que te permite moldear el sinamay (material parecido a la rafia que se utiliza para la mayoría de los tocados) directamente sobre él y te deja las manos libres para poder ir montando los diversos elementos que lo forman.

It is very easy to do if you have the right tools. The mannequin is quite useful, because it allows you to shape sinamay (raffia-like material used for most of the fascinator) directly over it and leaves you hands free to go riding the various elements that form it.

También tengo que contaros otra cosita. Mis padres viajaron la semana pasada a Estados Unidos. Llegaron ayer…. y ¿a qué no sabéis que me han traído?????????????. SOY INMENSAMENTE FELIZ!!!.

En la mesa de corte/ In progress…

Lola se casa.

Es mi hermana pequeña y me hace muchísima ilusión que mi “niña” se case. Yo soy la mayor de 5 hermanos, y recuerdo perfectamente el primer día que la vi. Tan rubia ,tan guapa…y nos ha avisado con un mes.

Así que imaginaros la de vueltas que le estoy dando a la cabeza pensando en hacerme algo bonito, rápido y no demasiado formal, puesto que va a ser una boda sencilla e intima.

Hoy por fin me he puesto manos a la obra y he cortado la chaqueta 109 del burda 03/2012. Desde que la ví, me enamoré de ella, pero no encontraba un tejido parecido al que recomendaban en la revista.

It’s my little sister and I am very happy that my “girl” to marry. I’m the oldest of 5 brothers, and I remember perfectly the first time I vi. So blonde, so beautiful … and has warned of a wedding a month ago.

 Y girando, girando , me acordé de esta tela verde que tenía guardada. Et voilá!! , ya la tengo cortada!!.

And I remembered that I had this green fabric . Et voila! , I have it cut!.

Espero darle un achuchón mañana , por que no tengo apenas dos semanas y no sé con qué me la voy a combinar.

¿Falda blanca o vestido color mostaza? Son las dos opciones que barajo. Pero prefiero ver el resultado de la chaqueta antes de empezar con  lo siguiente. No vaya a ser que al final no me quede como yo pienso, además , es la primera chaqueta que hago !!.

I want make progress in this project tomorrow, because I have just two weeks and I don’t know what I’m going to combine.

¿White skirt or dress mustard? Are the two options. But I prefer see the result of the jacket before start with the following project. It is the first jacket I do!.
